New Moon on Monday (Mingle Week #3)

My actual Mingle is short and I have included my own personal honest review of the New Moon movie as well. Spoilers, tho most of you who care have read it and its irrelivant. No its not all roses, I'm very picky when it comes to movies. Remember my expectations were low and lets face it, the saga is not a cinematic masterpiece. With that said, lets Mingle

i haven't seen new moon yet.. it hits the cinema on 26th in here... i know lame Germans:P anyway but i read the book so i know what's going on.. i kinda wanna see the movie just to compare:) come 26th and we'll see.. I'm not that fond of watching it dubbed in German so we may consider going to Frankfurt to watch it in English version in a big enough cinema... The English version cinema in our city only has 12 rows and I'm claustrophobic:P
so yeah... anyway! Happy Monday!

Ok- I am not reading it or listening. I KNOW that it's going to probably be silly. But I am going tomorrow night with a bunch of girls & it is so fun to laugh & make fun of the goofy stuff. So I'm going in with no expectations...

I'm not a new moon or vamps fan. It's like everyone is so head over heels in it and I'm like going the other way faster. I guess I'm usually like that so you not spoiling it for me :)

It's so true, if I already love an outfit, I wouldn't mind my dh feedback on it, but I like it so I'd be wearing it anyways. Unless it's just something he can't stand..i.e. your KISS tshirt.

He wasn't your type sealed the deal :) They do say opposites attract right?

Mat's the same way when it comes to jeans. I do a "butt check" anytime I buy new jeans/pants.

Sometimes the guy that isn't our type turns out to be the best one!! Mat definitely wasn't my "type", but I love that.

I agree with your New Moon assessment except for the Edward part, but then you knew that. And it's not because he's skinny because skinny is okay but there was just something weird about his body (mean I know) I can't quite explain it but it made me cringe a little (sad I know). I will admit that he's purty with his clothes on though.

Loved this mingle! I didn't really have a "type" so Josh ended up being my type, but it is so funny that your husband wasn't your "type" at first glance.

I love that he said if you already bought the outfit, what does it matter - so true! And you gotta love a man with honesty.

I am not into the twilight books, but I have a close friend that is.

ROFL with big dudes...I got creepy feelings when you said that! I agree that the nekkid deal...I am all about it. Skinny dudes Yum! I agree it stayed to the book more...can't wait for June for Eclipse!

I was a latecomer to the New Moon franchise, and thankfully read the books before seeing the movies. First movie= awful. New Moon? Not perfect, but so much better. My biggest wish is for Edward to use his voice and not just his face to convey emotion! The screwy faces were comical!!!

That's right Sponge Bob, you're not the only one! At some point today at my daughter's Cobra Kid Award assembly I quite possibly may have ripped the seat of my cargo capris. Question is when exactly. See all the parents sit in the back of the multi purpose room (what happened to separate gyms, cafeterias and auditoriums?) When your kid's class is called, that's your Que to get your camera ready because your child is about to receive the coveted Cobra Kid Award. Back in the Saddle Again!

Well the California Dreamin is over for now, we are back in the swing of things in good old Boulder City. School started two days ago and the vacation ended a week ago. It was nice to escape the Vegas heat and I did sneak off to Mickey's place for a day (one day is CLEARLY not enough time to hang at the Magic Kindom). Even though I could have spent a week there, my marriage would never have survived, you see my hubby has a bad taste for Disneyland. He says its my fault, that I've burned him out on it. I say its because he doesn't have that twinkle in his eye, that Disney Magic in his blood. Well at least the monkeys do. He does have some great pool boy skills though. Wink wink! Well the dreamy do nothing vacation came to an end and the real world has set in. Problem with dreamy is it gets boring and you have nothing to blog about except dreaminess. Eh! "Who is your favorite celebrity you've worked with?" This is a question I get asked often. Honestly it makes me uncomfortable because I feel like my favorite isn't the asker's favorite and they're never impressed. Jude Law, Sylvester Stallone, Molly Sims... none hold a candle to "Heart"in my book. I can still remember in the 8 th grade opening a gift that contained a cassette entitled "HEART". This was MY tape, not my dad's L.P. that he would make me a copy of, this was a true cassette with a genuine cover and the songs printed (not handwritten) on the cassette itself. Ooooh see see, the lyrics are written in the jacket, no more rewinding and fast forwarding trying to figure out the words to my favorite songs. And look how cool Ann and Nancy were, I'll be staring at this for hours thank you very much, AND it rocked!
