Inspired by a blogger... "I Wanna Be a Rockstar"

I always see such cute creations in the blogging world.  Recently I've been seeing alot of carding going on.  So because of so many of you out there sharing your creativity, I've decided to post my first card project. My daughter has a birthday party tomorrow, and she is a super crafty girl.  The idea of making her own invitations was exciting!
So we went to JoAnnes and she picked out the colors, stickers and papers.
The fun part for me was photoshopping this guitar and laying out the text. Then we layered papers to frame the fun.
Well I didn't even think about envelopes!  So I made some out of these scrapbook papers.  Luckily she picked all the pink ones, not my favorites.  I may have had a hard time parting with some of the papers even though I don't scrapbook.

What about you, are you a card maker like my blogger friends AnnOnAnOn or Missy??

Cute invitations! I really need to make more cards or at least send out store bought ones. I love the idea of it. I just need to get on the ball.

Heck. No. LOL I am not but I did just complete invitations for my little sisters bridal shower!

I think yours turned out FAB! Great job!
Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was reading your post thinking "I want to come!!!" Who doesn't want a rockstar make-over? Ok, who wouldn't want to hang out with 9 year olds getting a rock star make-over? And then I thought, Oh Mary would totally let me come because I would bring my camera!! And then I realized that I am 4 hours late for said party. Sigh. I hope you had so much fun. I will call you when Avery gets old enough that I let her think about make-up.
BTW I do like homemade cards. I think they show "how much you care"
they turned out amazing, great work! i am most definitely not a card maker, but i would love to try it someday.

{i am stopping by from SITS to say hi}
