"Small Town" swap!
After a long week of no blogging and traveling to California for a gig, I arrived home to some blogging fun! I received my Hometown Swap package. Shannon paired us up with an anonymous partner. So your arrival was a total surprise. Thank you Shannon for being such a great host. Now on to my loot!
My surprise partner is.. ta, ta, da DA! Diane Chandler, from Middleton, TN! And here is what she had to say.
Thank you Diane for your awesome swap! I am looking forward to getting to know you. I think my blogger buddies will agree that there is no reason for anyone to feel alone in blogger-land. Give Diane a visit!

"Hi Mary, I am Diane from Middleton, TN. My small hometown is about 65 miles east of Memphis. We are very rural, so I have chosen to send articles from my "region" of TN. I hope you enjoy them! I have made a list above and have included an article with each item. It will be self-explanatory. I am a widow, having just lost my husband of 34 years in January. We have no living children. So I am learning to be alone. My blog address is http://auntdisexperimentallife.blogspot.com whew! Have a great day and enjoy your dream job."
1.) Fridge Magnet-Elvis of course! Once I saw Tennesee, I expected my Elvis to be in the box!
2.) Altoid Mints - National Bird Dog Museum
3.) Note cards and pencil - My kids had the big question? "Whats a bird dog?" made for some internet research. We did learn that this is not a bird dog! This is a sneaky dog who's not supposed to be in the house.
4.) Tennessee Peweter plate - How did Diane know I totally dig plates?
5.) Pink Palace Museum Tee - Perfect P.J. size too.
6.) Original 'Olga King' necklace (article enclosed) *Olga originals are worn by many local celebrities (i.e. TV personalities, etc.) in Memphis and Nashville as well as in Atlanta. She is a friend and did something JUST FOR YOU! OMGsh!! This is soooo beautiful. An original, I am so excited!!

Yes, I do live in St. Johns. Both Ryan and I grew up here, so it is not culture shock or anything. In fact, when I was really little, Melody (Mike's sister) and I were buds. I think our moms were in Relief Society or Primary together.
Thanks for participating in the swap... hope you've enjoyed it :)
What a lucky girl!
So you are the one that did the cute little note cards. I loved that!
Jen
