tell me

Clue me in on a few things because I'm just not getting it here?  I feel like Kronk some days.

Why is everyone going to Wordpress?  I don't understand why you would want to:
  • pay for every little detail
  • and then be completly limited in your blog design
  • make people sign in to comment
  • thus making us forget what we were going to write
Perhaps you've got insight to this?  I suppose I'm just frustrated, as I find it a stifling set up and the program I purchased to design my purchased blog has so many bugs in it I'm calling the Orkin Man..

Why is it I'm far more excited about school being out for summer than most mothers.
  • am I supposed to enjoy homework and class projects?
  • am I supposed to enjoy meetings and extra curricular activities?
  • am I supposed to enjoy forcing my kids to bed and getting up in the morning?
I got to sleep in on Monday.. I say  WOOT WOOT! Does that make me a bad mother?

And finally on a political note..
  • would you rather have a politician that is rich enough to do the job without having to owe people favors in the political process?
  • or would you rather vote for a career politician who owes scads of favors to campaign contributors?
  • wouldnt you rather use your right to vote to tip the scales in favor of your political candidate?
  • or would you rather turn off your political attention, not vote and then when things go wrong complain about who's in office?
Help a girl out will ya?

People are afraid that blogger is going to delete their blogs and there is a weird peer pressure to move over there!

I'm not movin'. I don't understand it, and you have designed some AWESOME blogger layouts that don't transfer over, do they?
Also, I'M ALWAYS EXCITED FOR SUMMER!!!!
Most moms are depressed or throwing parties when their kids go back...not me!

OH! And the political thing...I would love to wipe the slate clean and start over. : )
And, okay, maybe my colors are showing here, but I LOVE that women swept the primaries.

I'm all about blogger. (I wouldn't want to have to learn anything new!) I'm also all about summer. Even if I wasn't a teacher I'd still be all about summer. I love having my kids to myself. As far as politics are concerned, I'm definately more for the newbies. I wish there were term limits for the House and Senate.

I am so out of the loop, I haven't even heard of this... I love sleeping in & no homework or calls from the school...
I've always heard that Wordpress is better for SEO - that's Search Engine Optimization, for all you Kronks. Meaning certain search engines (but not all) are more receptive to or can search the WP blogs better. So those who want to be at the top of the search list use WP. I *might* make the switch for my photography just to be able to market myself better and have a better web presence.

And summer couldn't have come fast enough! And no words on politics. It's all a game, anyway.

I can't comment on the political stuff 'cause I'm afraid I don't keep up with it all.

I agree with Blueviolet about Wordpress. So far I haven't given in but then again, I haven't yet had issues with Blogger.

Oh and I agree with you about summer. I love when my kids are out of school.

still loving the blogger...just fine!
and as far as political...
no parties here just who I think will speak for me as a member of their community, state and country!
and still VERY PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!

By the way...still missing you!
I don't like Wordpress at all. I hate checking out blogs that are on Wordpress.
